A Weekend That Equips the Church and Reaches the Lost

“The Great Commission is a call to action. It is a call to do something, not to sit passively by while multitudes live and die without Christ.” — Ev. Tamryn Klintworth

Jesus commissioned every believer to preach the Gospel. Yet many Christians have never been taught how to confidently share their faith or step out in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Soul-Winning Weekends are designed to change that.

Hosted in partnership with local churches, Soul-Winning Weekends are focused on equipping believers to become bold, effective witnesses for Christ. Through biblical teaching, practical training, and powerful altar ministry, believers are inspired and equipped to reach the lost. The weekend culminates in a dynamic evangelistic Sunday evening service where church members are encouraged to invite their unsaved friends and family to hear the Gospel and receive prayer for healing and deliverance.

One weekend can ignite a church and mobilise a congregation—thereby impacting an entire community.

What to Expect

FRIDAY EVENING:

EMPOWERED FOR PURPOSE

The first service centres on the call of every believer to be a witness and how the baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers us for that task.

SATURDAY EVENING:

PARTNERING WITH THE SPIRIT

The second service focuses on the partnership between the believer and the Holy Spirit, explaining how the believer must cooperate with the Spirit to win the lost and set the captives free.

SUNDAY MORNING:

EQUIPPED TO GO

The Sunday morning service centres on understanding what it means to be anointed by God, as well as the gifts of the Spirit. It includes a commissioning, whereby the congregation is challenged to make soul-winning a lifestyle rather than an event.

As part of this commissioning, every participant receives practical soul-winning tools, including a Go-Band and Go-Tracts, equipping them to confidently share the Gospel. These simple yet effective resources help believers communicate the message of Christ clearly and concisely. Learn more about these resources here.

Ev. Tamryn’s book on the Holy Spirit and soul-winning—Spirit of Fire—will be available for sale and at a discounted rate for bulk purchases. This book can be used by congregation members following the weekend for self or group study. Every chapter of the book ends with Discussion Points, Action Steps, and Declarations, allowing the speedy application of principles learned. Learn more about the book here.

SUNDAY EVENING:

BRINGING IN THE HARVEST

The weekend concludes with an outreach service. Throughout the weekend, church members are encouraged to invite unsaved family members, friends, neighbours, and colleagues to this meeting. The Gospel is preached clearly and hands are laid on the sick and those needing a touch from God.

OPTIONAL EXTRA:

SATURDAY MORNING OUTREACH

If the host church does not have a one-on-one street evangelism team, an additional Saturday morning service can be held during which those interested in street evangelism will be trained by us, with the aim of establishing a team for the church. Participants then put what they have learned into practice as we head into the community for organised street evangelism. If the church has an already-established team, this service can still be held and congregants invited to join them for training and outreach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How flexible is the programme structure?

The programme above is our ideal Soul-Winning Weekend structure. However, we are flexible as to what suits the church inviting us. You may prefer two rather than three days of services or morning and evening services on a single Sunday, hosting a Soul-Winning Sunday rather than a Soul-Winning Weekend. Feel free to discuss your needs with us and we will settle on what works best for your congregation, while still ensuring that believers are equipped and people are impacted.

Q: Is there a cost to host a Soul-Winning Weekend?

There is no set fee. We simply ask the host church to cover the local travel and accommodation costs of the speakers and, if desired, receive a love offering toward our evangelistic projects across Africa and Asia. Usually, there will be one primary speaker and then a local evangelist who will assist with the Saturday morning training and outreach.

Q: Who will be speaking?

Either Evangelist Tamryn Klintworth or Evangelist Samuel Murrombe will serve as the primary speaker throughout the weekend, depending on where the church is located and their availability. You are welcome to request a particular speaker. During the Saturday outreach, they will be assisted by experienced local evangelists who have been trained through our ministry.

Q: What happens during the Saturday outreach?

Following practical training, participants head into the community in teams to share the Gospel, pray for people, and put what they have learned into practice under the guidance of experienced evangelists.

Q: What happens during the Sunday evening service?

The Sunday evening service is intentionally evangelistic. Church members are encouraged to invite unsaved friends and family members. The Gospel is preached clearly, with altar calls made for salvation and healing.

Q: Can our volunteers and ministry teams be involved?

Absolutely. We encourage churches to mobilise greeters, counsellors, intercessors, worship teams, media teams, and follow-up teams. Soul-Winning Weekends are designed to engage the entire church. This is your event to equip your people.

Q: How far in advance should we schedule?

We recommend contacting us as early as possible to reserve your preferred dates.
